Why are there so many campaigns for womens health?

So many celebs seem to be doing a lot of campaigns on women’s health. For example there’s kathy griffin with her public pap smear and many others. I have never heard any advocates for men’s health. Even if you google "women’s health campaigns" you get way over 9M hits, and when you google "Men’s health campaigns", there are just over 700,000 hits. Why is there so much more out there promoting women’s health, but much less on men’s health?
Because in our society, women are sadly considered more important.
Thought to be more victimized, women and children first, etc…
In one word: feminism. So much for equality.

Because women get more "prone" to major health problems. A good example would be Anemia -quite a common problem to women in their early teens when they start to have periods. Then there’s osteoporosis -which coincidentally relates to periods, as women lose a lot of calcium through it. UTI – another common problem to women in early20’s to mid 30’s. There’s also Pregnancy issues -which needs a lot of care to give birth to healthy babies, this also means Sexual health -since it is likely if the mother has AIDS, she will be passing it on to her yet to be born baby. There’s also Breast Cancer -common to women in their mid to late ages.
As for men, the most common problems are prostate cancers in their mid to late ages. Other issues include high blood pressures, lung cancer, liver cancer, etc -most of which are products of bad vices in their early years such as smoking, drinking, over-eating, lack of exercise, fatty foods, etc, in which most of them can be prevented easily.
